Each BoG event starts with one preparation phase from the moment the invitation has been sent until the group's battle phase begins. Preparation allows players to change their formations. We will refer, from this point onward to the placement of each player in the qualification DoC as Qualification Place (from 1 to 32) Let's take an example assuming that the 5th Pantheon (or BoG event on a particular server) occurs in the 12.10-18.10 week. Expect tougher competition in DoC during qualifying weeks. Since BoG occurs only once every two weeks, the DoC event happening in the same week does not matter for any BoG qualification. In order to decide the top 32 players eligible to participate in BoG, the game takes into consideration only the results of the previous week's Duel of Champions (DoC) event. Note that only players that own at least 3 heroes will be eligible (by the time the first event takes place this is usually the case anyway). Once invited, the players may proceed to the preparation phase. Players eligible for BoG will receive an invitation on Monday at 12:00. It consists of four phases that will be detailed later on. The event unlocks on Monday at 12:00 and concludes on Thursday evening.
